Bright orange in color, this energizing tea has a unique character of Rwandan terroir. You will find this black tea as a base for Earl Grey. Sweet, round, nutty notes are balanced by refreshing acidity of high elevation grown Ceylon. Notes of rich molasses can be detected, naturally sweetening the tea. This is a premium grade OP1 which means we pluck only the top two leaves and they are twisted, leaving the full flavor and health benefits to be enjoyed.

I love your tea. It looks like tea unlike other brands of loose tea I have bought that looked like dust.

I really enjoy the tea and the quality of the tea. I have bought expensive loose leaf tea from another company and it was impossible to tell the product was dried tea leaves as the texture was almost like it had been crushed. However, the tea from Sarilla is very obviously dried tea leaves and the flavor and quality are outstanding!

I had received a gift package of tea from your company a few years ago. I only recently finished the black tea that was part of the collection. I really enjoyed the flavor of your black tea and love drinking a cup or two in the morning. So I was happy to be able to obtain more from your company!
