Recipes

Whether you’re hosting, bringing a drink to a party, or keeping the holidays alcohol free, these low sugar mocktails start with a can of Sarilla, an organic sparkling tea brewed from real tea and herbs. Most Sarilla flavors have zero sugar and zero calories, and we never use artificial sweeteners. We keep the extras to a splash of juice, a little syrup, or fresh herbs, so the tea stays the star. Most take about five minutes, and each recipe makes two drinks.

  • 6 fresh mint leaves
  • Ice
  • Lime wheels and mint sprigs for garnish

Ginger Citrus Caramel Spritz

Ginger and caramel are an unexpected pairing. A thin swirl of Folk Saints dulce de leche adds a buttery sweetness that contrasts with the ginger and citrus, without turning the drink into dessert.

Serves 2

  • 2 cans Sarilla Ginger Citrus, chilled
  • 1 tbsp Folk Saints dulce de leche
  • 1 tsp warm water
  • Ice
  • A cinnamon stick or orange peel for garnish
  1. Chill two glasses in the freezer for 10 minutes.
  2. Stir the dulce de leche with the warm water until it’s pourable but still thick.
  3. Drizzle a thin ribbon of caramel inside each glass and turn the glass so it coats the sides. Return to the freezer for a few minutes so it sets.
  4. Fill the glasses with ice and slowly top with chilled Sarilla Ginger Citrus, pouring down the center so the caramel stays on the glass.
  5. Garnish with a cinnamon stick or orange peel.

Chamomile Lime Rosemary Gimlet

Chamomile, lime, and rosemary create a fragrant, slightly tart take on the classic gimlet. A partial Himalayan pink salt rim adds a savory contrast. Naturally caffeine-free for evening gatherings.

Serves 2

  • 2 cans Sarilla Chamomile Lime, chilled
  • 1 oz freshly squeezed lime juice
  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary
  • Lime wheels for garnish
  • Pink himalayan salt
  • Ice
  1. Gently press the rosemary between your fingers to release the aroma.
  2. Dampen rim with lime juice and turn glass upside down in salt to dust the rim.
  3. Pour lime juice and chilled Sarilla Chamomile Lime in glass. Crushed ice optional.
  4. Stir gently and garnish with rosemary and lime wheels.

Green Tea Pear Sparkler

Delicate pear juice softens the earthy notes of unsweetened green tea, while fresh thyme adds an aromatic finish. A lemon twist gives this sparkling drink a little extra brightness.

  • Squeeze of lemon
  • Ice
  • Thin pear slices and thyme sprigs to garnish
  1. Fill two champagne flutes or wine glasses with a little ice.
  2. Divide the pear juice between the glasses.
  3. Top with chilled Sarilla Green Tea.
  4. Garnish with a pear slice and a thyme sprig.

Thyme-Steeped Lemon Black Tea Sparkler

Fresh thyme and lemon peel are steeped together to create an aromatic infusion that complements Sarilla's sparkling lemon tea. A simple way to bring fresh herbs into a holiday drink without adding more sweetness.

Serves 2

  • 2 cans Sarilla Lemon Black Tea, chilled
  • 6 sprigs fresh thyme, plus 2 for garnish
  • 2 wide strips of lemon peel
  • 1/3 cup just-boiled water

  3. Add 2 tbsp of the thyme infusion to each glass.

Tips for hosting an alcohol free holiday

How do I make a mocktail feel special?
Serve it in a real glass over ice, and add a garnish. Fresh herbs, citrus, and pomegranate are the easy ones.

Can I make these ahead?
Yes. Keep the juices and garnishes ready, and keep the cans chilled. Add the Sarilla at the last minute so it stays lightly sparkling.

What if I want something without caffeine?
Chamomile Lime is caffeine free. Our other flavors get their caffeine naturally from real tea.

What can I bring to a holiday party if I’m not drinking?
A pack of Sarilla travels well and doesn’t need to be kept cold. Chill a few cans when you arrive and share.
